What else do we do?

You may not know that in addition to offering high quality holiday accommodation for visitors to the Galloway region we are able to offer the following additional services:


Guided Walks - from May 2010 we will be organising a number of guided walks around the Wigtown and Machars area, starting with a one to one-and-a-half hour 'Mud Flats and Martyrs' tour around Wigtown on a Sunday afternoon. Easy walking on well-maintained paths with commentary on points of interest / history etc.

Website design - if you like what you see on our website, you may be interested to know that Anthony is now offering a basic website design service for other businesses (or even private individuals).  Other sites he has helped set up to date are  www.ellerbecklodge.co.uk , www.gallowayvisitor.co.uk  and www.portwilliamcottage.co.uk .  The cost will depend on the number of pages and whether or not you are able to supply your own text and artwork - a basic initial homepage will start at around £40 plus hosting fees.

Word processing etc. - struggling typing reports, preparing CVs, designing brochures? We may just be able to help.

Risk Assessment - for accommodation providers struggling to meet the requirements of the new fire regulations or just needing some help with basic health and safety, we are happy to share our experience either to offer advice or to carry out an assessment on your behalf.

Gardening Services - many people have complemented us on the gardens at our properties. We can offer help with garden design, landscaping or general upkeep. Tubs and hanging baskets etc. prepared to order.

Autism Training / Consultancy - Anthony has almost 30 years experience in social care with children and adults with learning disabilities, including 15 years with Leeds Autism Services, where he had responsibility for staff training and care planning.  He can offer one day 'Introduction to Autism' training from £100 (plus travel).
